Biography

Ever since I was young I have always had an interest in art. It all started with reading comic books and trying to duplicate the characters. This gave me an insight on the human and inhuman body forms. Comic books also brought out the fantasy side of my art work. I never got tired of drawing. Most kids my age would be playing video games as I would be drawing. Sometimes I would get lost in my own personal world of art for hours and hours.

As time went on I continued to draw a little here and there. Often in class, where I repetedly got in trouble for it. This went on through grade school, middle school, and high school. I recieved a scholarship to a local tech college for computer aided drafting. At the time I was really interested in this field. It didnt take long for the interest to plummet. I started gaining more love for music. As this love grew, it inspired me to be more creative with what I was good at. The drafting really held me back from my creative side, which was the reason for the rapid collapse of interest.

With the feeling of uncertainty and doubt, I came across a wonderful group of friends who also happend to be in a band. After going to a few different shows, I couldn't help but notice a couple live painters showing off their skills. To me I thought that was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Seeing this I decided to start painting with this group of friends that I had grown close to, and together made a real connection. After painting live a couple times it really became an addiction. It is now my very favorite way to express myself. Live painting was the first thing to bring me into the "painting" realm. Now I have been steady painting for 3 years. The evolutions that have taken place in my art world have done nothing more than grow and grow. Art is now my passion and my self expression. It is that I love most. This discovery in myself has made me certain of what I want to be in life. For that I am thankful. There are many out there that are so uncertain. For me to have that certainty is a blessing and I am proud to be what I have become.
